Cold Forging
High strength compared to machined products! The molding accuracy is high, resulting in less processing in subsequent operations.
"Cold forging" is the process of applying external forces that exceed the elastic limit to metal materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, non-ferrous metals) using mold tools at room temperature, causing permanent deformation to shape and dimension them as desired (compression molding). Since the forming is done at room temperature, the forming accuracy is high, and there is less processing in subsequent steps. Additionally, due to the difficulty in breaking metal fibers (fiber flow), the strength becomes higher compared to machined products. 【Features】 - Applies external forces that exceed the elastic limit to metal materials using mold tools - Causes permanent deformation to shape and dimension as desired - Forms at room temperature - Metal fibers are difficult to break - Higher strength compared to machined products *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
